Welcome!

The Eastern Sun Karate Club classes are offered through Caroline County, Maryland, Recreation and Parks in Denton, Maryland.

Under the direction of 6th Degree Black Belt John Liszewski, Shotokan Karate
offers youth and adults an opportunity to improve self-control, general fitness and conditioning, self-confidence and the understanding of the mechanics of self-defense. Begining classes introduce the students to the basics of this discipline. The advanced class is open to students with a minimum of 10 weeks of prior instruction.

Classes are on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the remodeled Denton Armory, now called the General James F. Fretterd Community Center. They are located on the corner of 4th and Randolph Streets.
